With Smile Go, the fare is calculated and displayed before you confirm the ride. What you see is what you pay — there's no surge pricing and no negotiating with the driver. Prices are shown in Belarusian roubles (BYN).
What affects the fare
Like anywhere, the price depends on a few things:
- Distance and time of the trip.
- Car class / tariff you choose.
- Demand at busy hours — though the price is still fixed once you see it, before you book.
Because the fare is locked in before departure, traffic and detours don't change what you pay.
How to see the exact price
Open the app, set your pickup and destination, and the exact fare appears instantly. That's the most reliable way to know the cost — far better than a rough estimate, since it accounts for your precise route and the current tariff.
Paying, tipping and receipts
Pay by card (linked once for a tap-free ride), cash to the driver, or cashless. Tipping isn't expected in Minsk — the fixed fare is the full price. Need it for expenses? You can get a receipt by email for every trip.
Airport rides
Heading to or from the airport? The Minsk airport (MSQ) transfer covers about 40 km to the centre, with the same fixed-price model — you'll see the fare before you confirm, day or night.
